Forensics and eDiscovery technologies for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Linux

Apple Keychain access

Apple has been growing their market share for a number of years now. With the machines becoming more popular there comes the need for specialized forensic tools to analyze evidence on Macs. Agencies are starting to see more and more Macs come through their labs. The Mac OS stores passwords in a centralized location known as the Keychain. By using MacLockPick II, a forensics examiner can exploit a vulnerability in the Keychain and gain access to a suspects stored passwords. This will allow them access to many of a suspects private files, websites, servers, and more.
